Al started his real estate career in the 1980’s and has been the Broker of several real estate companies in the Myrtle Beach area. He has managed or owned and operated sales and marketing companies that have closed in excess of $900,000,000. These companies were responsible for land acquisitions, new home developments, individual residential purchases, and listing and sales of income producing and commercial properties. Al’s companies have represented dozens of banks, government entities, developers, builders and individual buyers and sellers in the process. As Broker in Charge, and past Owner and President of South Atlantic Group, New Homes in Myrtle Beach, Cipriana Park Sales, and Coastal Dunes Realty, Al has lead a group of highly trained and experienced sales and marketing professionals complete the sellout of over 50 neighborhoods in the last 10 years. His companies participated in both the startups and turnarounds of some of the most high profile neighborhoods in the Myrtle Beach area; Magnolia Point, Surfside Beach Club, Cypress Village and Grande Dunes are among these neighborhoods. Prior to real estate brokerage, Al spent nearly 12 years as owner/operator of a contract shipping company in North Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio, serving such international companies as Phillip Morris, Reynolds Tobacco Co. and Brown and Williamson. Today, Al serves on the Board of Governors for the Builder Marketing Society, a select group of International New Homes Sales and Marketing Professionals; and is active in the National Association of Homebuilders as a Master in Residential Marketing.
